Schedule to replace "Atlantis"

We can now confirm that we will be replacing the existing Atlantis Server with a brand new, higher-spec, server on Sunday 15th of this month (this coming Sunday). We shall begin the process at 10pm (UK Time).

 

We can also now confirm that the new server will use the ip address of the old server, thus preventing disruption for those of our customers who use Protx as their payment provider. 

 

To prevent emails and orders getting mixed between the two servers (old and new) we shall take the old Atlantis offline at 10pm, and it will remain offline until the new server comes online. We expect this process to take several hours.

 

By doing this late on Sunday night we hope to minimise inconvenience for our customers, but we cannot complete the process without a period of disruption as the old server is backed up to the new server and the new server booted up in its place.
